We are here to help From Purchase Orders to Advanced Ship
Web-EDI is a solution that allows businesses to conduct business-to-business (B2B) transactions electronically using the Internet. Our solution replaces traditional paper document processing. Using an entry form within a Web browser, our customers can send and receive documents such as purchase orders, invoices, and advance ship notices. Data from the webforms is then translated to a standard EDI format known as X12 or EDIFACT and then transmitted to your customers. Web-EDI can quickly make you compliant with your customers’ EDI demands.
DocStudio Web-EDI will work with all modern browsers such as Microsoft EDGE, Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. In some cases, the web forms will exhibit small changes in behavior across different browsers. Your B2B transactions are always protected through data encryption.
DocStudio will take care of all connectivity setup on your behalf. As soon as you sign up, we will act as your EDI department and start the onboarding process, which may include setting up connectivity to your customers’ VAN or AS2. Our solution will allow you for more time on managing the business relationship with your customers.
Yes, as long as each user is granted access and permissions to the company’s mailbox.
The Web EDI solution has been built with an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection. This type of connection ensures the encryption of all information passed back and forth during your Web EDI session. Therefore, all the data, both sent and received via WebForms, is unreadable to anyone else on the Internet.
Our EDI integration team can set up a solution to map the EDI transaction into the format the business application will accept them.
See more information on our ERP integration page.
Most retailers require a barcode label to accompany an EDI transaction, known as an 856 Advance Ship Notice (ASN). You can print barcode labels directly from the DocStudio Web-EDI solution. You still have to purchase a label printer.
